Say goodby to the State of Michigan

Say hello to the new corporate Territories.

I try to not feel too bad about it, people here were gullible enough to elect someone like Snyder, even knowing what happened to Gateway Computers. So when they get what they deserve asked for, we should remember Rule #1.*

But I hate to see this happening. We have given up any semblance of a democracy, and when Snyder starts giving the State over to his buddies I hope the Tea Baggers are happy with their new corporate overlords. (Bunch of F^*@#*G idiots)

(Rule #1: People are Stupid)

A conservative Michigan think tank thinks auditing professors is a swell idea, and has filed public records requests with three Michigan universities that teach the subversive subject of labor relations, reports TPM. The think tank requested all emails from labor studies faculty relating to the recent Wisconsin union battle, Gov. Scott Walker and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Friday. The email requests are part of an investigation into "what labor studies professors at state schools in Michigan are saying about the situation" in Wisconsin, a think tank employee informed TPM. Mother Jones reports that the Mackinac Center for Public Policy (as the think tank is called) is funded by the Koch Foundation, the Walton Family Foundation (of Wal-Mart fortune), and two other foundations funded by Michigan's richest conservative dynasties: the DeVos family (proprietors of detergent empire Amway) and the Prince family (founders of military contractor Blackwater, now Xe).
