You're right... it would be funny if it weren't true! As a responsible consumer, with never a late payment and always paying MORE than the minimum payment, I've had my credit limit slashed by more than half, and seen the interest rate go from 9% to 28.9%. Oh yeah.. I can opt out of that last bit, but then my card us unusable, and they will cancel it when it expires. Thanks ATT/CitiBank!
