Dear Mushtaq,
Even though I am "All Grown Up", any time I get a glimpse of Sesame Street, it is still just a bit too much overstimulation for my senses. I always found "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" to be more my speed, so to speak, though I do enjoy watching Yo Yo Ma play in any setting, and he was a guest on one of Mr. Rogers' episodes as well. (Speaking as a well-seasoned mother of a now 20 year-old son, and a former Preschool teacher, that is. And, yes, there IS a child within us all.....) :) S

Lol, Salma, I remember seeing Yo Yo Ma on "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood" when I was a kid.

I was too old to catch old to catch Sesame Street when I was young. Using my own kids as an excuse to enjoy the intricate layers of humor and wisdom was one of the great joys of the early years home with them. I love how SS makes learning so fun!
