About Me
- Mushtaq Ali
- I am no one important. I am just a teacher of an obscure martial art that most people have never heard of. I have however, been around for a very long time, and I have managed to survive any number of interesting situations. I am told by my peers that I am pretty good at what I do, and that I may have a few useful thoughts rolling around in my head. I have worked in any number of "high risk" fields, such as bouncer, bodyguard, and college professor, and have managed to survive them all. I have taught martial arts for twenty five years and practiced them for just a bit over forty years. I love Africa, and live there off and on. I am in the States as I write this, having just returned from the better part of a year in East Africa. Africa is full of hidden treasures, as well as strife and suffering. The martial practices of Africa are just now being explored and there is much to learn.

Like they also say, "There are no words to express my ......" (In the case of my having watched this video, the blank could be filled in with terms such as awe, amazement, wonder, etc., but even these words are insufficient.) S

"Al-Ghaib", The Unseen. What an awesome concept. To believe in things that cannot be seen. Difficult, indeed. However, this video makes doing just that so much easier. (Surah 2, Ayah 3). Thank you for sharing this. S
P.S. It also helps to explain the term "Rabb Al-'Alameen".
This is going to sound irretrievably ungrateful but I don't like the sound of "300 billion galaxies". That's too finite for me. You cannot put limits on my Beloved.

Very cool. You really should look into the work of the astronomer Halton Arp. His theory of intrinsic red shift ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrinsic_redshift ) is really pretty fascinating in its implications.
