Thought of the day (times 3)

Comments From Werner Erhard

We must "make room" for one another in this world- each one's person, belongings, ideas, habits, cultures, contributions, mistakes, schedules, friends, plans, dreams, etc. Then we can truly say "I welcome you into this space, and I value who you are, what you think, what you can do and even what you can't do because that is who you are and you are important and you are beautiful." A me and you world. (Wow, what was in that rice cake I just ate?) S

P.S. I love the message he is trying to get across. I don't know why, but it seems that his interviewer just couldn't "get it". What is it about a "You and Me World" that is so hard to understand? Such a shame that we don't all come to the earth programmed with this type of philosophy. By the way, what does EST stand for? S

Thank you Mushtaq for sharing these videos of Werner Erhard. A "you *and* me world" reminds me strongly of Lessing's "Shikasta" in which a shortage of SOWF creates a "you *or* me world."

Thank you again! These are great. How to inject this into modernity. That is a question.
