A Very Cool Interview

With my friend Scott Sonnon.

This was done with the guys at the American Sambo Association and I can highly recommend it.

Scott has a unique perspective on the history of the art, being one of the pioneers of Sambo in America.

Check it out, you'll find it very informative and thought provoking.

Is there something about MA organizations or the people who join them that leads to the kind of issues he was talking about?

It seems to happen way too often in too many different styles to be random.

It's nice to see that Silat isn't the only dysfunctional martial arts family out there.

I've been trying to get Barnes to take Sambo lessons for years, just so I can give him grief about it. So far, he just gives me A Look and shakes his head ...

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

www.americanlegends.blogspot.com

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.

Thanks,
David
